Maplewood Toyota
Founded in 1982, Maplewood Toyota is one of Minnesota's largest volume Toyota dealer. When CFO Tom Lahr walked around the dealership, he wanted his sales associates to be able to jump on any computer and help a customer on the spot. As it was, every associate had to get back to their own computer to access their own files. And computers were running different software with various versions. He knew it was time to trade in this model of technology for a new one, and fast. After all, he had his sights on expanding the business.
He hired Synergy Services who quickly got the Maplewood Toyota dealership on a solution so data and applications were no longer hosted on individual PCs but on a common server. Now any computer can be used by anyone at any time. Everyone is running the same software and versions.
