Regency Beauty Institute
Regency Beauty Institute is one of the nation's leading beauty education providers. When they first met Synergy Services, they were 3 locations in the Twin Cities. When they recognized that they could use technology to grow their business and, more importantly, help enrich the experience of their students and instructors, they decided to partner with a company that would see beyond computers and networks. They chose Synergy Services.
Synergy worked with Regency Beauty Institute to install Terminal Services, a solution that allows all of their campuses to access information and applications from a single source. This was important because this business was growing fast. In fact, they quickly grew from those 3 campuses to over 60 in the time that they've worked with Synergy. From installing the hardware, to training campus managers to monitoring servers and everything in between, Synergy has been instrumental to the success of this beauty institute by accomplishing the following:
- Centralized applications through terminal services for ease ofupdates and distribution, replacing their syncronized localized custom application.
- Developed campus techology installation procurement and procedures to allow new campus turnups to occur rapidly and consistently - less than 2 hours.
- Fully managed IT infrastructure from 4 locations to over 60, and after recommending the hire of a Infrastructure manager, continued to fully manage 48 servers with attached SAN. Continued campus setups for an addtional 25 locations - all for a budgeted cost far less than hiring a level 3 engineer.
